NTP can support up to 16 stratum levels and although there is a drop-off in accuracy the further away you go stratum levels are designed to allow huge networks to all receive a time from a single NTP server without causing network congestion or a blockage in the bandwidth.

When using a NTP server it is important to not overload the device with time requests so the network should be divided with a select number of machines taking requests from the NTP server (the NTP server manufacturer can recommend the number of requests it can handle). These stratum 2 devices can ten be used as time references for other devices (which become stratum 3 devices) on very large networks these can then be used as time references themselves.

You get two straps, a great case design, your choice of either quartz or mechanical movement, a nice variety of dial choices and, of course, all timepieces come with the superb MDV Swiss grade C3 Superluminova technology for excellent nigh time visibility.

Accurate time is so important for modern computer systems that it is now unimaginable for any network administer to configure a computer system without any regard to synchronisation.

There are many sources of accurate time for use with NTP time servers (Network Time Protocol). NTP servers tend to use time that is controlled by Atomic Clocks to ensure accuracy, and there are advantages and disadvantages to each system.

Ideally as a source of time you want it to be a source of UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) as this is the international time standard as used by computer systems worldwide. But UTC is not always accessible but there is an alternative.

GPS time

GPS time is the time as relayed by the Atomic Clocks on board GPS satellites. These clocks form the basic technology for the Global Positioning System and their signals are what are used to work out positing information.

But GPS time signals can also provide an accurate source of time for computer networks – although strictly speaking GPS time does differ to UTC.

No Leap Seconds

GPS time is broadcast as an integer. The signal contains the number of seconds from when the GPS clocks were first turned on (January 1980).

Originally GPS time was set to UTC but since GPS satellite have been in space the last thirty years, unlike UTC, there has been no increase to account for leap seconds – so currently GPS is running exactly 17 seconds behind UTC.

Conversion

Whilst GPS time and UTC are not strictly the same as they were originally based on the same time and only the lack of leap seconds not added to GPS makes the difference, and as this is exact in seconds, conversion of GPS time is simple.

Many GPS NTP servers will convert GPS time to UTC time (and local time if you so wish) ensuring you can always have an accurate, stable, secure and reliable source of atomic clock based time.

The movement is housed inside a titanium container that is held in place by a carbon-fibre frame and mounted on springs between two matt black ceramic plates. NTP has a hierarchical structure known as stratum levels. In principle the lower the stratum number the close the device is (in accuracy terms) to an original time source.

NTP time servers work by receiving a single time source and using this as a basis for all time on the network, however, a synchronised network will be only as accurate as the original time source and this is where stratum levels come in.

And atomic clock, either one sat in a large scale physics laboratory, or those aboard GPS satellites, are stratum 0 devices. In other words these are the devices that actually generate the time.

Stratum 1 devices are NTP time servers that get their source of time directly from these stratum 0 Atomic Clocks. Either by using a GPS receiver or a radio referenced NTP server, a stratum 1 device is as accurate as you can get without having your own multi-million dollar atomic clock in the server room. A stratum 1 NTP time server will typically be accurate to within a millisecond of the atomic clock time.

Stratum 2 devices are the next step down on stratum level chain. These are time servers that receive their time from a stratum 1 device. Most online time servers, for instance, are stratum 2 devices, getting their time from another NTP time server. Stratum 2 devices are obviously further away from the original time source and therefore are not quite as accurate.

The stratum levels on an NTP network continue on, with devices connecting to devices going all the way down to stratum 10, 11, 12 and so on – obviously the more links in the chain the less accurate the device will be.

Dedicated stratum 1 NTP time servers are by far the most accurate, reliable and secure method of synchronising a computer network and no business network should really be without one.

Just like anyone in your situation you need to know what happened, you crave all the details. Any time that you think about the affair mind becomes cluttered with images that you do not want to see, but you are unable to help yourself from visiting them again and again and again.

Until you are able to take action and learn how to control your thoughts they will haunt you while you sleep and awake. You will not be able to escape your negative thought loop overnight, it will take time. Being only human you will have days when you make no forward progress, you might even slip back a bit, the important thing is not to let it get to you and to keep pushing forward. If you keep working at it you will reach the point where you have healed your mind and are once again in control of your thoughts.

Reclaim Your Inner Sanctuary

Why would anyone want to live a life of unalloyed misery when they did not have to. Your mind is your inner sanctuary, however, you are the only one who can take it back. Your are the victim in this. I am certain that your spouse did not consult you about their affair, and you certainly did not ask for this to happen to you. It is unfair that your spouse betrayed you and that as a result you are unable to find any kind of peace. Much as you would like to, you cannot change the past, it has happened and you need to accept that.

What you can do is to influence your future by managing your thinking. Negative thoughts are vile things with tremendous staying power. But if you are ready to take them on then you can beat them back with positive replacements. However, before you can look at rebuilding your marriage, you have to protect yourself. It is going to be a long time before you can bring yourself to trust your spouse. If you want to stand any chance of saving your marriage you are going to have to start on it before you fully trust them. In order to protect, yourself you need to see some massive changes in how your spouse acts before you can deal with your thoughts.

Once you are ready to regain control of your thoughts you can use these three steps to get you started.

1. Track your thoughts.

You need to be able to track your thoughts, and learn to recognize the signs of your negative thoughts as they occur. For example, if you wanted to lose weight, then you would track what you ate. As you track what you eat you will begin to identify how to modify your diet in order to achieve your goals. On the other hand, if you want to stop smoking then by tracking how many cigarettes you can find that you start to smoke less.

So, when you track your thoughts, you need to develop an awareness of the times or places when you are: Less likely to have negative thoughts. More likely to have negative thoughts.

Or where you have no or hardly any negative thoughts.

Step 2. You need to identify your negative thought-loop patterns

Try to identify patterns for when you experience the thought-loops, such as specific times when your mind seems unable break free of negativity. Do these loops occur at specific times of the day? Maybe when you are trying to go to sleep? Or when you are on the daily commute to and from work. Or are there any other times of the day when you are affected?

Does engaging in a specific activity trigger a loop? Is there a movie or movie genre that affects you? Maybe you could be affected when you go to a favorite restaurant? Think about other locations or activities that could trigger a loop.

Are these loops specific to something that you see or hear? For example hearing about an affair in the news, newspaper, radio, T.V or a movie? Can you think of any other triggers?

Step 3. Break negative thought-loop patterns

Once you have discovered the patterns that define when negative thoughts are occurring for you, create actionable steps that break the pattern, planning ahead for when these occurrences may crop up.

Time of day: If you’ve discovered that your thoughts turn negative at bedtime, change your bedtime ritual. Take a warm soak in the tub, or read poetry in your chair rather than the newspaper in bed. If these thoughts occur during your commute, listen to a book-on-tape.

Do anything that grabs your attention away from those thoughts and breaks the problem pattern.

During an Activity:

You may have found that your usual movie fare is contributing to those negative thoughts. So, switch your taste in movies, at least for the time-being while you are retraining yourself out of this pattern. If you normally sit down to a romantic comedy, choose an adventure film, or suspense. If your favorite restaurant is where you find yourself caught up in negative thoughts, find another restaurant-even if it has to be in a different neighbourhood.

Something You Unexpectedly See/Hear.

Maybe you’ve discovered that you are randomly broadsided by things you see and hear-you never know what will cause the thought-loop to launch. In this case, be ready: actively fight the thought as you realize it’s occurring. Have something in place that you can use to deflect your mind to a new subject.

For example, if you see a car that reminds you of the one driven by the paramour of your spouse, turn your head and look at a building out of your other car window (of course, not if this would interfere with your safe driving). If you hear something on the radio, lift your hand and turn the dial to another station.

Take an active stance of some sort to break the pattern, do not give it an opportunity to gain a foothold on your thinking, which means stopping the problem-thinking at the earliest possible time in the sequence.

In order to be successful at these techniques, you have to practice other thoughts when there is no problem thinking. You have to have a ready list of pleasant or positively entertaining thoughts prepared prior to the time one of these loops begins.

For example, when something brings up a mental image that would lead into a negative thought loop, have a standby image ready with which to replace it. Picture a bucket of turquoise-blue paint, and when an unbidden image pops up in your head, grab an imaginary paintbrush and lay the paint on thick, covering the scene.

I also give you advanced techniques and practical strategies to stop the haunting: fend off negative thoughts and end the struggle that comes from the flurry of emotions you’ve attached to them.

If your thoughts are not your own right now, there’s no point in needlessly suffering and feeling as if you’re losing control of everything in your world, including your own mind.

High-growth economies such as Brazil, Indonesia, India and China have an emerging middle class and rapidly growing automotive markets. The vehicle retail price in these markets must be relatively low, putting cost pressure on components in these vehicles. Additionally, automotive markets in developed economies such as the United States, European nations and Japan are also seeing an increased demand for cost-sensitive solutions after the global financial crisis that began in 2008.

Traditional technologies used in automotive AM/FM tuners are typically BiCMOS tuners with a 10.7 MHz IF tuner architecture. This technology/architecture delivers on radio reception performance, but the process and architecture are cost prohibitive for mixed-signal architectures where RF circuits are integrated with digital processing engines such as DSPs and microcontrollers in a monolithic circuit to deliver fully processed audio outputs.

Digital low-IF CMOS AM/FM receivers very much fit the bill due to the much lower cost points of CMOS foundries and the use of a digital low-IF tuner architecture. Digital low-IF AM/FM receivers have been in use in the handset and portable media player markets for a number of years.

RF Dynamic Range

In crowded FM spectrums that are very common in urban settings, the abundance of radio stations can overwhelm the radio receiver tuned to a desired station whose signal strength is relatively weak. The most severe and common non-linear distortion resulting from strong interferers is third order inter-modulation (IMD3) distortion resulting from two strong close-in blockers that show up on-channel on a weak desired station tuned to.

In many applications an external tracking filter is used on the front end of the receiver to attenuate the blockers. This technique, however, is costly in terms of components and PCB real estate.To minimize IMD3 distortion products, the dynamic range of the receiver front end must be adequate.

Selectivity and Dynamic Bandwidth Control

Selectivity refers to a tuner’s ability to receive a weak station in the presence of stronger stations at small frequency offsets. This is especially important for receivers in crowded FM spectrums in urban environments. An important performance requirement, especially for European markets where the channel spacing is 100 kHz for FM broadcast, is adjacent channel selectivity, which refers to suppression of signals ±100kHz away from the tuned frequency and which is usually no better than 30dB in many tuners found in the low-cost category.

While 30 dB selectivity performance may be adequate for many field conditions, there are many situations in the world in which a listener is tuned to a station broadcast from a distant location while driving past towers broadcasting multiple stations in the local region. In this scenario, much higher selectivity is required.

Sensitivity

Sensitivity refers to a tuner’s ability to pull in weak stations. If you live in a rural area away from the transmitters of most radio stations, the sensitivity of a tuner will be of great importance. With current car radios, the performance requirements are typically microvolt level sensitivity, allowing the car radio to pull in an extremely weak signal and extending its ability to tune into a station dozens of miles away.

Alternative frequency (AF) Check

In Europe, alternative frequency (AF) technology is an optimal choice that allows the car radio tuner to tune to a different frequency that provides the same station when the first signal becomes too weak when moving out of range. This technology is often used in European car radio systems, enabled by radio data system (RDS) technology where the AF list is transmitted via RDS data.

In summary, continuing cost pressures in the global automotive market are driving the development and deployment of highly integrated and innovative CMOS radio receiver IC solutions that will provide significant cost savings in transitioning from traditional architectures and analog-centric semiconductor processes typically employed for car radio tuners.

This article explains how GPS Time server Systems achieves exact timing information to give a highly accurate timing reference for Network Computer time.

GPS System is a navigation system operated by the Military but also can be used by the civilian and does not need any subscription. The GPS System is known as an extremely accurate global positioning system. Each GPS satellite has an onboard a highly accurate atomic clock, ideal for supplying the correct time for computer network time synchronization.

GPS Time Servers: The GPS System exist of a constellation of 24 orbiting satellites, each has a precise atomic clock timing reference and covers the entire globe. The exact time information can be continuously broadcast from each of the satellites. You can receive the broadcast timing information with a relatively low cost GPS antenna and receiver.

GPS time is transmitted as Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), which is similar to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). The UTC time is the same worldwide and does not vary regarding the time zone or daylight saving time. UTC is a very accurate atomic time standard sustained by Atomic Clocks located in national standards laboratories. UTC has consistent seconds distinct by the International Atomic Time (TAI) Institute.

GPS Radio Transmission: The GPS satellites broadcast information as very low-power radio frequency transmission. There are two designated frequency that are used, one for civilian use coded L1 and the Military use coded L2.The civilian L1 frequency is transmitted at 1575MHz. It can easiliy pass through plastic and glass but is blocked by metal and brick.

GPS Antenna Location: The precondition to receive transmission from as many satellites as possible is a good clear view to the sky. Ideally a roof mounted antenna is best with a full 360-degree view of the sky. Conversely, an antenna can be located on the side of the building with a 180-degree view of the sky if the horizon is not too obscured.

GPS Antenna Types: The GPS antenna is essentially a signal amplifier. The antenna improves the received GPS signals for transmission along a cable to a receiver for decoding. A Coax Cable is normally used to transfer signal information between the GPS antenna and receiver. These antennas can be provided in different shapes and sizes. The general antennas being pole-mounted are dome shaped antennas and small patch type antennas. The pole-mounting antenna screws onto the threaded pole for mounting. Whereas the patch type antenna is a small flat bottomed device ideal for mounting on a windowsill.

GPS Receivers: GPS Receivers decipher the GPS transmission received from the antenna into a useable format. NMEA is the most common protocol used by the GPS receiver. This protocol insists a number of sentences which provide a packet on information confirm of time, date and positioning information. The NMEA protocol quotes information indicating visible satellites and satellite location.

GPS time servers can use a specific GPS timing receiver. These timing receivers have additional functions to provide a highly accurate reference time. The timing receiver can also perform an automated survey and compare satellite Atomic Clocks to check for synchronicity. GPS time servers may also use an accurate pulse per second (PPS) output, which provides a highly accurate reference trigger for GPS timing, generated by the receiver.

GPS Antenna Installation: The gain of the antenna and the coax is important for the maximum cable distance that can be used by a GPS antenna and receiver. An antenna used with a GPS time server may have 35dB gain. RG58 coax has an attenuation of 0.64dB/m at 1575MHz. Therefore a cable length of 35/0.64=55m could be used. Higher quality coax has a much lower attentuation value allowing longer cable runs. Also GPS amplifiers and updown converters can be utilized to increase the cable length. Surge lightening arrestors are also recommended on externally mounted GPS antenna to protect expensive network equipment from potential damage by lighting strikes

GPS is primarily intended as a highly accurate global positioning and navigation reference. However, a by-product of accurate positioning is that each orbiting satellite also has an integrated highly precise atomic clock unit synchronised by the US Naval Observatory (USNO). It is therefore ideal for providing a high accuracy time reference for computer timing systems, such as NTP. This article attempts to describe simply, how network time servers can obtain accurate timing information to provide a precise reference for computer time synchronisation. It also discusses how NTP servers can utilise the atomic time generated by GPS to provide a timing reference for computer networks.

The GPS system is a constellation of 24 orbiting satellites, each with highly precise atomic clock timing systems onboard. The system provides a global service, which can be received anywhere on the face of the planet. Accurate time data is transmitted continuously from each satellite. The time information can easily be received with modern low-cost antenna and receiver equipment.

Time is broadcast from each satellite as Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), which is virtually identical to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). UTC time is the same worldwide; it does not vary with time zone or daylight saving time. UTC is a high precision atomic time standard maintained by Atomic Clocks located in national standards laboratories. UTC has uniform seconds, as defined by the International Atomic Time (TAI) institute.

Each satellite broadcasts time and positioning information as a very low-power radio frequency transmission. The US Military designates two frequencies, one for civilian use coded L1, and one for military use coded L2. The L1 frequency is broadcast at 1575 MHz (1.575 GHz). These weak radio transmissions can easily pass through less dense materials, such as plastics and glass, but are blocked by denser materials, such as metal and brick. However, newer more sensitive receivers are being developed for indoor operation.

A GPS antenna needs to have a ‘line-of-sight’ view of satellites. Therefore, a roof-mounted antenna is ideal, with a full 360-degree view of the sky. Quite often however, an antenna located on the side of a building is adequate, provided the horizon is not too obscured by trees or buildings. The antenna is essentially a signal amplifier; it boosts the received signals for transmission along a cable to a receiver. Fifty-ohm coax cable is generally used to transfer signal information between the antenna and receiver.

The receiver decodes the signals received by the antenna into a useable, easily readable format. The most common protocol used by receivers is NMEA, which consists of a number of transmitted sentences. Each NMEA sentence provides a packet of information consisting of time, date and positioning information. The protocol also provides additional information such as visible satellites and satellite orientation in the sky.

NTP servers utilise a specific receiver tailored for timing applications. Timing receivers have additional functions and circuitry to ensure a highly precise reference time. They also perform an automated site-survey to compare satellite clocks for synchronicity. Time servers also utilise an accurate pulse per second (PPS) output generated by the receiver. A PPS output provides a highly accurate reference trigger for timing purposes.

The GPS system provides an ideal solution for computer network timing applications. Using the ‘free-to-air’ system, NTP time servers can synchronise to within a few microseconds of UTC.

Keeping computer networks accurate and synchronised can’t be emphasised highly enough. Accurate time is essential in the modern global economy as computer networks across the globe are required to constantly talk to each other.

Failing to ensure a network is accurate and precise can lead to headache after headache: transactions can fail, data can get lost, and error logging and debugging can be virtually impossible.

Atomic Clocks

Atomic Clocks form the basis of the global timescale – UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). UTC is used across the globe by technology and computer networks enabling the entire commercial and technological world to communicate in synchronicity together.

But as Atomic Clocks are highly technical (and expensive) pieces of hardware that require a team of technicians to control – where do people get a source of such accurate time?

The answer is quite simple; atomic clock timestamps are transmitted by physics laboratories and are available from a whole host of sources – kept accurate by the time software NTP (Network Time Protocol).

NTP Time Servers

The most common location for sources of atomic clock generated UTC is the internet. A whole host of online time servers are available for synchronisation but these can vary in their accuracy and precision. Furthermore, using a source of internet time can create vulnerabilities in the network as the firewall has to allow these timestamps through and therefore can be utilised by viruses and malicious software.

By far the most secure and accurate method of receiving a source of atomic clock generated time is to utilise the GPS network (Global Positioning System).

GPS time servers are unique in that as long as there is a clear view of the sky they can receive a source of time – anywhere on the globe, 24 hours-a-day, 365 days a year.

They are also highly accurate with a single GPS NTP time server able to synchronise entire networks to just a few milliseconds of UTC.

Today was our relocation day: we moved from our vacation apartment in Solana Beach in San Diego to the chic Sofia Hotel in downtown San Diego. On another brilliant day we arrived at the hotel at about 10 am, but our room was not ready yet, so we decided to embark on some brief local explorations.

Seaport Village’s Victorian, Mexican and East Coast style architecture and its four miles of meandering cobble-stoned walkways create an inviting waterfront environment for shopping and dining. The assortment of merchandise includes souvenirs, clothing, kites, wind chimes and unique gift ideas. Galleries and art retailers round out the offering, and live music is offered frequently throughout the year. An original 1895 carousel with hand carved animals enchants adults and children. Culinary options include four fine dining restaurants and thirteen casual eateries.

An outdoor exhibit of oversized globes currently adds extra interest to Seaport Village. ‘Cool Globes – Hot ideas for a cooler planet’ features 40 inspiring globes that depict simple solutions to global warming. The globes were designed by local, national and international artists and have been traveling on the road in places such as Chicago, Washington D.C., San Francisco and will be on display in Los Angeles and London in 2009.

Further north of Seaport Village is the Embarcadero which features the USS Midway, an aircraft carrier that was in operation between 1945 and 1992. It was donated as a museum ship and has been moored on San Diego’s Navy Pier since 2004. Visitors can tour the ship’s flight deck, mess hall, bridge, flight control area, officers’ quarters, sickbay and portions of the engine room. Evening events are frequently held on this massive ship and a café adorns the rear of the ship. A portion of the ship overlooking San Diego Harbor can be accessed free of charge while admission to the rest of the ship is $17.00.

San Diego has long been a centre for the US Navy and the area around the USS Midway features many reminders of military history including the Battle of Leyte Gulf Memorial, dedicated to a historic naval battle in 1944. The Bob Hope Tribute, also called the National Salute to Bob Hope and the Military, is an impressive collection of larger than life-size bronze figures that commemorate Bob Hope’s five decades of support in entertaining soldiers, airmen and sailors, starting in 1943.

The National Salute consists of 16 figures on a circular plaza that surround a sculpture of Bob Hope, entertaining the crowd in front of a microphone. The surrounding figures are authentic depictions of military personnel from different eras including World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War era and the first Persian Gulf War.

Among the many pieces of public art along this waterfront walk, one of the most stunning is ‘Unconditional Surrender’, a 25-foot sculpture of a sailor kissing a young nurse. The sculpture commemorates the moment when World War II was finally over, and joy and euphoria swept the world. Inspired by a famous photo of the V-J Day Celebrations on Times Square, this sculpture by Seward J. Johnson is on loan to the San Diego port until the end of February of 2009.

Further north along the waterfront is the Cruise Terminal, located at the B Street Pier along North Harbour Drive. San Diego is a port of call for many major cruise lines including Carnival, Holland America, Celebrity, Royal Carribean and Princess Cruises. Almost 620,000 cruise passengers arrived in San Diego in 2006. Local harbour cruises can also be accessed in this area, and a central office of the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau is located right across the street from the cruise terminal.

Now it was time to head back into the head hotel and finally check in. Within less than ten minutes I had arrived at the Sofia Hotel. The front office staff was very friendly, and our suitcases had already been brought up to Suite 602, a Deluxe Studio Suite. Our sleek modern bedroom was enhanced by a sitting room with a second flat screen television and an ergonomic desk. Our bathroom featured a full bath with a luxurious shower head, and a vanity area complete with fresh orchids in the bedroom area.

Always driven by my curiosity, I managed to convince two of the hotel’s employees to give me a tour of the entire hotel a few minutes later. Brian Wells from the front desk and Danny Miranda, a bellboy, graciously agreed and started by explaining the history of the Hotel Sofia to me. Two of the hotel’s towers were built in 1926 and opened a year later as the Pickwick Hotel. The property was part of the Pickwick Corporation, a company that provided 22 stage coach routes in California. The design was Neo Gothic and in 1928 two additional hotel towers were added.

From 1928 to 1944 the hotel even became the location of a broadcasting station called KGB (no association with the former Russian secret service agency). In 1929 Pickwick Stages merged with the Greyhound Corporation. During the 1940s and 1950s the Pickwick Hotel remained a popular tourist and entertainment location, and locals and guests alike enjoyed the Piccadilly Lounge. During the 1950s city council required the decorative architectural elements to be removed from the façade, to prevent potential injuries during an earthquake.

From the mid 1950s to the mid 1980s downtown San Diego experienced a protracted decline and lost its luster as a retail and entertainment destination. Now under new ownership, the Pickwick Hotel started to show its age as well.

New owners Ken Winslow and Harki Parekh purchased the property in 1986 and systematically started to repair the hotel over the next 20 years. With the opening of the immensely successful Horton Plaza retail mall, the rejuvenation of the historic Gaslamp District and the construction of Petco Park, downtown San Diego became a desirable destination again. The location of this hotel was absolutely ideal for us in our discoveries of downtown San Diego.

After this brief introduction of the hotel’s history, we stepped outside the hotel, which is located at the intersection of West Broadway and First Avenue. The statue of the businessman outside the entrance was dedicated to the Center City Development Corporation and City Council as a way of thanking the city for revitalizing this entire district. Brian pointed out that Horton Plaza and the Gaslamp District are literally just a 10 minute walk away. The Sofia is also just seven blocks from the waterfront and the Port area.

Talking about history, the Sofia Hotel became a member of the Historic Hotels of America last year and is the only historic hotel in downtown San Diego. A photo in the entrance area shows the radio towers that used to adorn the hotel in 1934 where 50,000 Watts of airwaves were beamed out all over San Diego.

In a hallway to the left of the lobby we stopped to admire some pictures of the renovation. Brass pictures of the designer, the architects and the owners adorn the wall. One of the pictures shows the renovation, and the unique thing about the entire remodeling process was that the owners kept 12 housekeepers as well as Brian and Danny on staff to help with the demolition. The team removed carpets, ceiling fans, sinks and toilets from 242 hotel rooms, and 720 old doors were ripped out. Danny and Brian said it was great to keep their jobs during the renovation phase and to participate in the transformation of this hotel. Their sense of ownership and pride of the newly restored and glamorous Sofia Hotel was obvious.

Less than three weeks away from Christmas, the lobby was aglow with holiday decorations. Brian added that the hotel currently features a total of 14 Christmas trees, all decorated by the owners. Real orchids adorn the common areas as well as all the hotel rooms. At the back of the lobby facing the entrance is a painting of a young girl on the beaches of Coronado. This girl, Ken Winslow’s granddaughter, is named Sofia and was the inspiration for the new name of the completely remodeled hotel. A cozy sitting area invites guests to sit down and relax by the fireplace.

To the left of the lobby is the business centre which features three brand-new desktop computers, high-speed fibre-optic Internet, colour and black %26 white printers and fax capabilities. This business centre is available to the guests 24 hours a day.

Strolling back out into the lobby we turned right into ‘Currant’, the sleek modern 120-seat restaurant on the- main floor of the Hotel Sofia. Established in 2007, Currant offers upscale American-French cuisine and is open every day for hotel guests and the public. High ceilings, graphic tiles, elaborate chandeliers, uniquely-styled furniture and a private room secluded with sheer curtains, offer a sophisticated ambience.

Heading upstairs now we were on the mezzanine level where several of the Sofia’s awards are proudly on display. Within less than two years since its reopening, the Sofia Hotel has won two Best of Citysearch awards as well as an Expedia Insider’s Select Award. This distinction is only granted to the top 1% of hotels. The restaurant has also won some awards, and the Sofia has also garnered an ASID Design Excellence Award.

Around the corner Brian and Danny took me to two state-of-the-art conference rooms that are equipped for video conferencing and projection. The larger boardroom holds 32 people while the smaller 20-seat boardroom is anchored by a massive antique wooden table. Down the corridor we stepped into the Yoga and Fitness Centre, an amenity that is open 24 hours a day. The hotel even has its own yoga trainer and offers guests TVs, DVD players, fresh towels, bottled water, and infused orange water. The Sofia Hotel has even produced its own yoga DVD!

After the common facilities Brian and Danny took me to room 633, a corner room. A standard room with a queen bed, this room offers an excellent view towards the Port of San Diego. A smaller-size but well-designed room, it features high-quality beds, therapeutic queen pillow tops and luxurious down comforters. A flat-panel TV, digital safe, ironing board and iron, and blow dryer add to the amenities. A coffee maker and a microwave allow guests to look after their most basic needs. Ice machines on different floors provide the necessary cooling power for a private evening retreat with champagne.

The hallways are decorated in a sophisticated sage green colour scheme and the carpet is of upscale quality. After the renovation, the number of rooms was reduced to 211 guest rooms, down from the original 242 rooms. The extra space was taken up by the conference rooms and the yoga / fitness studio.

Steps away in suite 601, Brian illustrated the conveniences of a private bedroom featuring a queen size bed and a sofa pullout bed in the sitting room. A queen-size suite can therefore accommodate up to four people. High-tech reading lights can be angled in any direction, and the alarm clock radio comes with an Ipod / MP3 docking station. Flat panel TVs are available in the bedroom and the sitting room. All the vanity areas feature attractive dark wood cabinets, all adorned with real orchids. Upscale soaps and toiletries pamper the guests, and bottled water is complimentary.

To conclude the tour, Brian and Danny gave me a few tips for exploring San Diego: Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, Old Town, Seaport Village and Coronado are among the most popular local tourist attractions. The upscale area of La Jolla and the Scripps Institute of Oceanography are a little further afield. I was already looking forward to joining tomorrow morning’s tour through the Gaslamp District, offered free by the Sofia Hotel. A visit to Balboa Park would round out our adventures in San Diego.

Not only had we found a great central location in San Diego; by staying at the Sofia Hotel we had also connected with local history and discovered a unique place that has tastefully preserved a 1920s property and brought it into the new millennium with top-notch modern amenities.

If I were to build a time machine, it would have a very straightforward design.  It would have a square base with four isosceles triangles as its walls.  Its interior would be filled with a dense material of great mass such as granite or limestone.   Despite our Hollywood inspired conditioned image of a time machine, my time machine would be void of any electronic gadgetry.  Simply put, my time machine would resemble the Great Pyramid in Egypt.  If we take an analytical view of my equation, Rainer’s Time Longevity Equation, we note that Time (T) is a factor of Distance (D), Mass (M), and the inverse of Energy (E).

We can obviously travel forward in time by traveling on a very fast space ship (increased D).  Our personal clock would slow to a near standstill while those residing on earth would continue to tick away.  We could also freeze our bodies to nearly absolute zero, thus significantly reducing our basal metabolic rates (a decrease in E).  Obviously, not the most comfortable experience imaginable.  Lastly, we could build an enormous pyramid like structure with a very high mass(increase M).  The inside chamber could be equipped with a ventilation chamber system to allow access to air and food.  Sound familiar?  The Great Pyramids of Egypt exactly match this description. 

If we were to test our time machine by placing a five year old child in its chamber, an outsider gazing into the pyramid’s inner chamber would note that the child barely aged even after ten years.  However, the child peering out of the pyramid would note that his observers on the outside of the pyramid would grow old quickly before his eyes.    In addition, if the child wore a wrist watch, the time on his watch would be substantially behind the time on the outside of the pyramid once he emerged. The boy would have in fact traveled into the future.  Time is relative and the pyramid has the capacity to alter time on its interior relative to its exterior due to its extremely large Mass (M).

An interesting modern day experiment would involve the use of extremely accurate Atomic Clocks.  These clocks have the capacity to measure time within the thousands of milliseconds.  Let’s assume that we synchronize the time for two Atomic Clocks on the exterior of the Great Pyramid.  One of the Atomic Clocks would be placed in the innermost chamber of the Great Pyramid while the other atomic clock would be placed outside the pyramid.  After one month or longer, the recorded time from the atomic clock retrieved from the interior of the great pyramid would be notably behind the atomic clock’s time on the exterior of the Great Pyramid.  Hence, the pyramid served as a time machine, slowing time in its interior relative to time outside the pyramid.

Additionally, a second experiment could involve the life span of mice living in the interior of the Great Pyramid versus those living outside the pyramid.  Mice living in the interior of the Great Pyramid would be noted to outlive mice living on the pyramid’s exterior given that water and food remain readily available. 

Although modern physicists have noted that time slows near large masses, they have, and I believe incorrectly so, stated this phenomenon  to be due to ‘gravitational red shift.’   I assert that large masses distort space which secondarily increases the Time variable.  Furthermore, rapid forward movement (D) and energy (E) reduction also have a magnifying effect on Time (T).

The Great Pyramids are in fact time machines.  Whether the pyramids possessed the capacity to hurl time travelers hundreds or thousands of years into the future remains to be seen.  However, Egyptian Pharaohs may have used the pyramids to extend their life span i.e. a fountain of youth. Maybe the pyramids were used to buy time for those diagnosed with incurable cancers.  In any event, there remains no reason why similar structures could not be used today for similar purposes.

Naturally, if we erected pyramids of greater height and significantly greater mass, the efficacy of our time machine would substantially improve. 

Unfortunately, the price tag of our pyramid time machine would run into the trillions.  If we elected to build a time machine on a budget, we could, in fact, try another approach.  By burrowing underground we can capitalize on the mass of the earth and thus increase the mass (M) variable.  Secondly, if we burrowed in an arctic region of the globe, we could also capitalize on the Energy  reduction component (decrease E) of Rainer’s time longevity equation. 

Hence, a time machine on a budget would be a chamber deep into the earth’s interior with the potential to reach sub zero temperatures.

During World War II, German Nazis transported over 250,000 scientist and military staff and personnel to a region between 20 degrees East and 10 degrees West in Queen Maud land in Antarctica.  The nazis named this Antarctic region Neuschwabenland.  

Was Neuschwabenland modern man’s first attempt at building a time machine?  Perhaps on second thought, does an Antarctica time machine already exist?

Dear VIP reader;

It is so sad for me to witness once more the destructive power of a Plutonic Window upon the world. Yes as much as you can count on the Sun to rise tomorrow morning these ‘deadly Window’ will be there to hunt you and Pluto deadly lost children will dramatically and robotically act out those heavy criminal stars. As always I can only watch its impact upon innocent children, ignorant celebrities, your President, religious groups and the rest of humanity.

While the news reflects the tip of the iceberg, every one of you will somehow feel ‘the energy’ the sarcasm, the heaviness and worse suffer Pluto’s impact upon your own life. Meantime, back September 24th 2010 I wrote my usual SOS To The World (and visions) preparing the world with my quatrains and keywords for the news to be posted on CNN. In my eternal drive to educate humans on God’ signs and the working of the Cosmic Code I gathered some of today’s news as to offer the reader once more the opportunity to rise to Cosmic Consciousness and avoid future penalty (and/or losing your life.)

(CNN) — A gunman faces six counts of attempted murder after he opened fire at an elementary school in southern California and injured two students who were outside during lunch, authorities said.

Indeed Pluto is not only cold and calculated but deadly and if you watched the news lately much news media talking heads discussed how to stop certain *plutonic’ kids bullying others. Well I tell you right away, without Cosmic Consciousness the teachers will never know how to approach or fix this problem and like terrorists they are there to STAY! Do not dream, do not hope because ignorance plagues education all the way from the top (educational system) to bottom (kids) and rest assured like the police I have tried to reach for so many years, the terribly failing educational system will NOT explore anything they do not understand and consider taboo. The dilemma that science, the parents, the educational system, the police and humankind at large faces is quite simple, you are ALL unaware of God’s celestial design, deaf to his universal will and blind to the signs…But the trouble is your intellectual educational political leaders while loaded with PhD’s ‘Piling Higher and Deeper’ inherited also a great dose of spiritual pride *EGO and will never appreciate/acknowledge the difference between education and intelligence. When the new crowd of ‘Teachers of Teachers of Light’ *my Astropsychology students, become operational the real chances to reach the children’ spirit outside of the current latent educational / religious conventionality the real chances for progressive changes  in the educational system will take place. Well some concerned pious parents believed otherwise, but now forced to wake up to reality because, even Christian schools are not spared or better or different than others as Pluto’s deadly will resides in ALL of the children UCI and penetrates it all. Only to a certain level I may add and the deadly/destructive Plutonic forces can be triggered anytime for good or worse. Gee do the educating adults have something else to learn about the kids’ psyches?

While my 525 page book ‘The Power of The Dragon’ explain much of what makes a bully,  a criminal a terrorist and offer deep insights about the most famous/infamous people that have made our human history NO one of the teachers has ever read it and worse, this book is not authorized/available to the kids in your  accredited schools and Universities libraries.

In my next Cosmic Code I will divulge to my VIP’s ONLY what make a bully a bully and the real reasons outside of accepted conventional psychology. Last night on CNN, while Dr. Phil made perfect sense to regular humans who poorly thinks like him, there is so much more behind the bullying phenomenon. If you like my work, the right and only way to learn, deal and help your kids is offered to you with priceless information. Meantime keep watching the news because it is just a matter of time when another Gay kid will commit suicide or when another killing rampage takes place ! I WAS BORN A BULLY AND NO ONE WILL CHANGE THAT UNTIL DR. TURI REACH ALL OF US!

Let me tell you my own story about being bullied as a kid and, well before I offer you the solution you may  be able to grasp it.  I was about 12 years old and if you read my biography ‘Beyond The Secret’ you know my upbringing was very tough. No food, no running water, no restrooms were available in the old house infested by cockroaches and rats bigger than our army of cats. Yes looking daily in the trash for food on my way to school every day was as important as what pain my abusive *Plutonic teacher was going to inflict on my young body every day. Each Thursday Mr. Mesaoudi a (Pied Noir) took his class to the very small ‘stadium’ to play soccer. Just before the game we were all told to run around it for about half a mile to warm up before the game. I was first (what do you expect, Aries Dragon’s Head) and the toughest older most feared by all bully was following me. I made it first at the end and he did not like this at all and surrounded by his friends he started bullying me. During the race my short teared apart showing a bit of my butt and running behind me he saw it happening and was making bad jokes about it.

Like me this gypsy kid was tough and trained to deal with pain since for-ever and because of his size and meanness no one dared to challenge him. I was surrounded by a bunch of laughing but dangerous  young hyenas ready to strike and I knew if I did not stand for myself then they would keep harassing me for-ever. The overconfident bully came very close to me and this is when I stroked his face as hard as I could breaking his nose. Every mouths in the pack dropped watching their leader kissing the floor on his ass… I came to him and pretended to kick him in the face but stopped short and said looking straight in his eyes, ‘You picked the wrong guy to mess with, you better leave me alone or I’ll kick your ass again.’ Not only the bully later on became my friend but I owned his respect and those of all his friends.

But not all kids were born with a Martian (warrior) spirit  like me and many reincarnated souls while lodged in a male body, feel, behave and act like girls. This is what or how God karmically made ‘gays.’ I Explain this to religious fanatics or the bullies and see the changes but without my ‘Teachers of Teachers of Light’ tin operation the spiritually advanced educational battle is lost.  I hope you read my newsletter titled ‘ Are You Gay? Dr. Phil and others ‘well read’ psychologists /psychiatrists etc.  suggestion to run away and tell an adult is the worth thing to do because you are dealing with a totally different Plutonic generation , the  teaching adults, can-not associate, relate or even understand. Thus their educated comments are not only laughable but also bring about dangerous repercussion (after school) and will never stop any bully. I have the key, the real answers and the solution but they do not read or even know about Dr. Turi’s independent 60 years old  worth research.  You do! This does not mean all the bullied kids out there should take karate courses and behave like I did, NO, nobody has to fight, it’s all about educating the kids at the right time with the right information. Prince George’s County Fire and EMS spokesman Mark Brady tells WTOP numerous ambulances were sent to the rally after people started fainting and became dizzy. The problems may have been related to warmer temperatures Thursday. Brady says crowds at the rally were outside and packed shoulder to shoulder.

In order to make this measurement, the receiver and satellite both need clocks that can be synchronized down to the nanosecond.  

To make a satellite positioning system using only synchronized clocks, one would need to have Atomic Clocks not only on all the satellites, but also in the receiver itself.  

However, Atomic Clocks cost somewhere between $50,000 and $100,000 so it is a somewhat too expensive for everyday consumer use.

With this problem comes the clever and effective solution offered by the Global Positioning System.  

Every satellite contains an expensive atomic clock, but the receiver itself uses an ordinary quartz clock, which it constantly resets.  
Concisely, the receiver looks at incoming signals from four or more satellites and gauges its inaccuracy.  

In other words, there is only one value for the ‘current time’ that the receiver can use.  The correct time value will cause all of the signals that the receiver is getting to align at a single point in space.  

That time value is the time value held by the Atomic Clocks in all of the satellites. So the receiver sets its clock to that time value and it then has the same time value that all the Atomic Clocks in all of the satellites have.  The GPS receiver gets this atomic clock accuracy ‘for free’.

With the information given above we’ll understand that the most essential function of a GPS receiver is to pick up the transmissions of at least four satellites and combine the information in those transmissions with information in an electronic almanac, all in order to figure out the receiver’s position on Earth.

On my way to inventing the paradigm I explored physics through the desire to understand how the Universe worked, and the place of Humans within the scheme of things. One of my few preconceptions was the belief that the course of Human evolution has seen a steady improvement in knowledge and understanding. I’m an optimist.  I’m also a determinist, in that I see everything as being the effect of a cause which in turn is the cause of another effect. The idea that things can happen without a cause, is nonsense.

The big bang theory was a particular cause for me to explore physics. I thought it simply absurd to think that there could be a time before time even begun. Then there was all the talk about time being an independent dimension: more absurdity. It was obvious that this was a discipline desperately in need of debunking.

Another preconception that I brought to my exploration of physics was materialism. I mean that it the philosophical sense of seeing everything as being made of a substance that we call matter. Physics, when not talking about time as a dimension, is always talking about a thing they call energy. I recall an academic once saying that the concept of energy was one that you couldn’t actually explain but had to “feel” in some mystical sense. As a materialist I wasn’t having any of that mystical stuff. Albert Einstein’s famous equation, E=mc2, didn’t convince me about this energy concept. For me, all that it was saying is that energy is matter in motion and that it can be detected or measured with instruments.  I also reject the idea of mass being something that is different to matter, given that even physics defines matter as “The substance of which the physical Universe is composed.” The implication within this definition that there could be a non-physical Universe I put down to a lack of rigorous thinking. Let’s be quite clear. As far as I’m concerned, the Universe is totally physical and totally composed of matter.

To deal with the whole of physics I categorize it in a way that represented its fundamental approach and perspective. This approach and perspective can be called a paradigm. Physics is a paradigm. This paradigm is characterized by the use of mathematics and measurements. Mathematics is abstractionist, and measuring things is also abstractionist in that the thing you measure never actually becomes the measurement. As a consequence of its reliance upon mathematics and measurements, I categorized physics as an abstractionist paradigm. Physicists are, therefore, practitioners of the abstractionist paradigm.

With its reliance upon mathematics and measurements, the abstractionist paradigm is not a truly fundamental perspective. I accept all scientific evidence. However, I interpret all evidence in accordance with a truly fundamental and materialist and logical scientific perspective. If you want to understand everything in a totally connected and consistent manner, you need to establish the most fundamental position that can be obtained. A position that is so fundamental that it covers all the disciplines of science.

As evidence is the central concept of science, what is evidence? We know the Universe through observation, and we interpret that observation with a perspective that we have either acquired or invented ourselves. To believe that observation is, in and of itself, evidence, is naive realism. Evidence is the best interpretation, or explanation, of observation. If you have the best explanation in one area of observation, then through logical consistency you can generate explanations in other areas that have scientific validity without the need for further observation.

If you believe that science can only involve those things which can be measured or directly observed, then you should not proceed beyond this point. I suggest you go away and measure something.

Gravity is the fundamental force of the Universe. Isaac Newton conceived of gravity as being proportional to the sum of the masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the masses. This produced a mathematical representation of gravity, but left gravity has a magical action at a distance. Albert Einstein conceived of gravity as being caused by curved or warped space. This too, is unacceptable because once again no explanation of a material cause is contained within the idea of curved space. The latest thinking by establishment physics is that gravity is caused by the exchange of particles called gravitons. These particles are seen as travelling through what is assumed to be empty space. This exchange of gravitons theory is also inadequate.

All attraction is caused by the absorption of emission, which involves the exchange of emission between objects. All objects have emission fields, and the absorption of emission is via the emission field of objects. An emission field is a gravitational field, so all objects have a gravitational field. There is no more fundamental, materialistic, and scientific explanation for attraction than the absorption and exchange of emission.  This rather simple explanation for the cause of attraction has far reaching ramifications.

The two nuclear forces, the electrostatic force, and gravity have the same mechanism. Establishment physics sees these forces as separate. Establishment Physics is wrong. Everything from the smallest sub-atomic particle, to the largest possible galaxy absorbs and emits what can be described as emission or radiation or energy or light.

What is assumed to be empty space is composed of the emission (radiation or energy or light) of everything. Emission travels through interaction with emission, and can be detected as wavelengths. These wavelengths are constructed through the convergence of different levels of emission. Establishment physics does not ask, let alone answer, the question of how the detected wavelengths are constructed. The emission of an object disperses as it travels through space and this involves it encountering the emission of others objects. If the emission encountered is of less density, then the result will be an increase in wavelength. From the perspective of the Earth, this sees the detection of the increasing wavelengths of the emission from galaxies and stars. The abstractionist paradigm, by way of Relativity theory, even accepts that when emission (light) is traveling opposite to the direction of an emission (gravitational) field, its wavelength is increased and its frequency is decreased.

For some, the fact that emission can be detected as both a particle (a photon) and a wave is inexplicable. However, this dual nature is resolved once you see a wave of emission as composed of dispersing or de-constructing particles and a particle as a fusion or construction of emission which is made of matter and as having an emission field. If a photon was not made of matter then it would not leave an impression upon a screen when projected towards the screen. The idea that emission (light) is massless (matterless) is not a fact but a mistaken assumption of the abstractionist paradigm.

We do not see through an otherwise empty space. We see with space in the sense of the emission of objects, in the form of their image, traveling through the emission that is space and impacting upon our retinas and being processed by our brains. The idea that the space between us couldn’t be composed of matter (actually dispersed matter) because we wouldn’t be able to see through it, is another example of naive realism.

As emission travels through interaction (absorption and emission) with emission, its speed is relative to the density of the emission through which it travels. It could not possibly have a specific speed throughout the Universe as claimed by physics. Physics sees emission (light) travelling through space as a vacuum. Space is not a vacuum. If you measured the speed of emission at a distance above the surface of the Earth, where the emission field is less dense than at the surface, it would be greater than at the surface. The fact that the difference would be very small and not readily measureable is beside the point. Emission travelling from the Earth to the Moon would increase in speed as it left the Earth and at the mid-point of their emission fields it would begin to slow down as it approached the Moon. It’s merely an assumption on the part of the abstractionist paradigm that the speed of light is “universally” constant. The abstractionist paradigm has an inadequate understanding of how emission travels. The measurement called “a light year”, has no scientific validity.

The Earth is attracted to the Sun through absorbing the emission of the Sun via the Earth’s emission (gravitational) field. Part of the emission absorbed by the Earth’s emission field reaches its core and maintains the core’s active state.

In 1954 a French economist named Maurice Allais observed that a pendulum moved faster during a solar eclipse. This has become known as the “Allais Effect”, and has been unexplained by physics. When the Moon is in front of the Sun it blocks part of the emission (gravitational) field of the Sun resulting in less absorption of emission by the emission field of the Earth. This slight reduction in the density of the emission (gravitational) field, results in less downward attraction of the pendulum allowing it to swing faster.

The gravity of the Earth would also be reduced when it’s at its farthest distance from the Sun during its yearly orbit. If you wanted a “gravity assist” in obtaining a high or long jump record, do it when the Earth is at aphelion on the 3rd of July and during a solar eclipse.

It has been observed that the rotation of the Earth is decreasing, and that the distance between the Earth and the Moon is increasing. Establishment physics claims that the decrease in the rotation of the Earth and the moving away of the Moon derives from a tidal bulge in the Earth. It’s claimed that as the Earth tries to drag this bulge along its rotation is decreased, and that this loss of angular momentum is transferred to the Moon lifting it into a higher orbit.

The only way that the decrease in the rotation of the Earth (the loss of angular momentum) could cause the Moon to move away would be if the rotation of the Earth was responsible for the Moon’s distance from the Earth in the first place; which is not the case.

Is the Moon moving away from the Earth due to a decrease in the density of the Earth’s gravitational field? Is it due to an increase in the density of the gravitational field of the Sun? Is it due to a decrease in the density of the Moon’s gravitational field?

Establishment physics accepts that gravity involves acceleration and not merely uniform motion. However, it offers no explanation for why this should be the case. With the absorption of emission explanation, absorption leads to increased matter that results in increased absorption capacity, and it’s this that underpins the fact that gravity involves acceleration and not merely uniform motion.

I came to the absorption of emission explanation of attraction through conducting a simple electrostatic experiment. When I rubbed a glass rod it attracted a suspended pith ball. Establishment physics sees this as being the result of dislike charges attracting, and offers no explanation of how this comes about. I decided that rubbing the glass rod increased the emission of the rod and that this emission was absorbed by the pith ball resulting in the attraction. If the glass rod were not rubbed, it would still have emission and could still attract a pith ball through the pith ball absorbing the emission.

Absorption and emission is the mechanism that underpins the abstractionist concept of charge, so that as an explanation it’s more fundamental (and superior) to that offered by establishment physics. It’s no mere coincidence that the formula for gravity takes the same form as that for electrostatic attraction. Electrostatic attraction is gravitational attraction.

Establishment physics also states that like charges repel. Once again, no explanation of how this comes about is put forward. Here I decided that like charges involves equivalent levels of emission, and that objects of equivalent emission repel each other by pushing away from each other via this equivalence of emission. Yes, “I decided”. Someone had to, given the obsession that establishment physics has with measurements. This leads to the conclusion that only objects of inequivalent emission can be subject to attraction.

It was from this foundation that I realized that everything is either a state of absorption exceeding emission, or of emission exceeding absorption. They are either increasing or decreasing in matter and either increasing or decreasing in emission. The idea of static, inert matter has no part to play in explaining the dynamic nature of the Universe. The Earth is a state of absorption exceeding emission, whereas the Sun is a state of emission exceeding absorption.

The Earth increases in matter over time, through the absorption of emission, and this sees its emission increasing over time. As a consequence, the gravitational field of the Earth increases in density over time.  The physics mistakenly sees gravity as being uniform over time. In the time of the Dinosaurs gravity would have been less than it is now.

The Moon’s movement away from the Earth can’t be accounted for by a decrease in the density of the Earth’s gravitational field. Equally, it can’t be accounted for by a decrease in the density of the Moon’s gravitational field. The only possible explanation is that the emission of the Sun is increasing and exerting a greater attraction over the Moon relative to that of the Earth.

The rate of rotation of the Earth is decreasing. Increased gravitational attraction between the Earth and the Sun, due to the increase in the emission of the Earth and the Sun, accounts for the decrease in the rotation of the Earth. This can also be seen as caused by inertia.

Establishment physics defines inertia as “the property of a body, proportional to its mass, which opposes a change in the motion of the body.” (Larousse, Dictionary of Science and Technology, 1995) You will notice that inertia is presented as a “magical” property of matter. Physics offers no explanation of the mechanism that causes this “magic” to exist. Every example of inertia is an example of attraction acting on a body. A body on the surface of the Earth opposes a change in its motion due to gravity attracting the body downwards. The mechanism of inertia is, therefore, the same as the mechanism of gravity, i.e. the absorption of emission. John Gribbin, in his Companion to the Cosmos (1996), states that, “It is a curious and still not fully explained phenomena that … inertial mass and gravitational mass … are always exactly the same…” It’s now fully explained.

Establishment physics sees the Sun beginning through the accumulation of matter attaining critical mass and igniting. Apart from small variations in its emission due to such things as Sun spot activity, establishment physics sees the Sun’s emission remaining uniform over time. This is wrong.

The emission of the Sun has steadily increased while its matter has steadily decreased, and its gravitational attraction capacity has increased. This stands in contradiction to the abstractionist paradigm that would say a decrease in matter (mass) would result in a decrease in gravitational attraction.

It’s my theory that stars and planets involve two stages of development. The first stage entails absorption exceeding emission and the construction of the elements from a base of Hydrogen. This first stage sees stars take the form of a solid planet. This is followed by the star/planet attaining critical mass at its core and igniting into a second stage of emission exceeding absorption where the constructed matter is consumed in the process of the star. Second stage stars end with dissipation. First stage stars can explode through the impacting emission increasing to the point of precipitating a nuclear explosion.

It’s simply not possible for either a first or second stage star (a planet or a star) to collapse under the increase in its own emission (gravity) and form a blackhole. The theory of blackholes is rubbish. The blackhole theory is derived from seeing gravity as being caused by matter, in and of itself, with a complete absence of an explanation of the mechanism of the cause. The exchange of gravitons theory was an attempt to give gravity a mechanism of cause.

The two stages of a star theory was derived from the realization that pressure can’t be applied to a body which is a state of emission exceeding absorption, and as the bursts of gamma radiation needed to be accounted for that lead to the two stage theory. So, the bursts of gamma radiation detected from all directions in the cosmic sky are first stage stars exploding due to the increasing density of the impacting emission.

A matter that further demonstrates the inadequacy of the physics establishment involves the variability in the rate of atomic decay. An experiment conducted by J. C. Hafele and R. E. Keating in 1971, measured the rate of decay of two identical Atomic Clocks. This involved placing one clock on the surface of the Earth and the other in an airplane above the Earth. The clock in the airplane ran faster than the clock on the surface of the Earth. The clock in the airplane was subject to less density of impacting emission than the clock on the surface of the Earth. As the density of impacting emission increased the rate of atomic decay decreased. This proves that the stability of atomic structure is relative to the density of the impacting emission, which is a fundamental law of the Universe.  

Establishment physics interprets this experiment as demonstrating the variability in time, because they see time as an independent dimension and space as empty. Time is the measurement of duration and/or the process of real material things. It’s not a thing-in-itself. To treat time as an independent dimension and a thing-in-itself is to commit the fallacy of reification or misplaced concreteness.

Relativity theory sees the Hafele-Keating experiment in terms of the difference in the time of the two clocks as being “due solely to gravitation and kinematic effects.” However, it also claims that the difference is due to the speed of the airplane: “If the speeds were greater, the relative effect would be greater also”. Then, it finally clarifies the situation by stating that: “The result is, time runs faster on the plane as it flies higher. This effect is due to gravitation and is independent of the plane’s velocity.” (Edwin Jones and Richard Childers, “Contemporary College Physics”, 1993) The difference in the time of the two clocks is due solely to the emission (gravitational) field being less dense above the surface relative to at the surface, and has nothing to do with the speed of the airplane. The idea that motion, in and of itself, can have an impact upon time is pure abstractionist nonsense. The requirement that the situation be represented mathematically is responsible for physics failing to appreciate that the experiment demonstrated a fundamental law of the Universe.

Jere Jenkins, the Director of the Radiation Laboratory at Purdue University, has observed that the rate of atomic decay varies with the yearly orbit of the Earth around the Sun. When the Earth is at it furthest point from the Sun (aphelion), the rate of atomic decay is increased. It’s obvious that this occurs because the density of the impacting emission is decreased. This observed fact stands in contradiction to the establishment physics idea that the rate of atomic binding, expressed with what is called the fine structure constant, does not vary over space and time. Of course, the observation by Jere Jenkins goes to confirm the Hafele-Keating experiment.

A spacecraft travelling away from our solar system would encounter decreasing density of impacting emission and thus have an increasing rate of atomic decay, and eventually completely de-construct. Not even NASA has realized this as yet. It just goes to show how being locked into an inadequate perspective can blind you to what is obvious from a more fundamental perspective

The emission impacting upon the Earth has increased in density over time so that the rate of atomic decay on Earth has decreased over time, and is not the uniform rate as assumed by physics.

The establishment physics idea of “universal constants” is wrong.  Just because you measure some particular thing on Earth at a particular time, does means that the results of that measurement can be applied to anywhere and at anytime within the Universe. The measurement they call the “gravitational constant”, derived from the attraction between objects on a torsion balance, is nothing more than electrostatic gravitational attraction. But, as the absorption and emission of the objects on the torsion balance is relative to the density of emission impacting upon the Earth, their attraction can be seen as a measure of the gravity of the Earth at that time.

Many of the units of measurements of physics are either arbitrarily defined, or are based on the assumption that the thing to which they relate does not change over time. If you take time as being defined by the rotation of the Earth, then as the rotation of the Earth is decreasing the length of a day in increasing.

Abstractionist paradigm physics sees the so called nuclear force as an internal process that is responsible for the binding of particles into higher forms of matter. This is mistaken. The nuclear force is actually the nuclear fusion process of construction, which entails the absorption of emission within a context of the increasing density of impacting emission. This involves the movement that results from attraction. Nuclear fusion as the process of construction is the fundamental force in the Universe, and is specified in absolute detail with the paradigm of science.

Global warming as a green house effect is connected to gravity through the increasing density of the gravitational field of the Earth. The atmosphere of the Earth is retained by the Earth through the atmosphere’s interaction with the gravitational field of the Earth. The atmosphere doesn’t just hang there by magic. As the density of the gravitational field increases, the density of the atmosphere increases. However, as the increase in the density of the gravitational field occurs over extended period of time, it can’t be having a significant impact upon the present rate of increase in the average temperature of the Earth.

As our solar system exists within the Milky Way galaxy, it’s subject to attraction through the absorption of emission within the galaxy. This would impact upon the density of the emission within the solar system and the density of the gravitational field of the Earth. The physics establishment is not even aware that the Milky Way Galaxy has a direct impact upon the solar system and the Earth, through the galaxies emission being absorbed by the solar system.

Two particles that approach each other through the absorption of emission can explode due to the impacting emission acting as pressure. Establishment physics sees this situation as the mutual annihilation of matter and anti-matter. The existence of anti-matter is a myth of the abstractionist paradigm. I think they acquired the idea from a science fiction movie.

Everything from the smallest sub-atomic particle to planets and stars, have a dissymmetrical duality at their cores. This involves one large and one small state of matter.

The gravitational field of the Earth is generated from a dissymmetrical duality at its core. As one part of the duality increases in matter, the other decreases in matter. As the large one attains a state of maximum absorption the other attains a state of maximum emission. The process of absorption and emission then flips over accounting for the regular reversing of the magnetic poles of the Earth.

The fact that particles created from collisions in particle accelerators always take a curved path can be accounted for by the dissymmetrical duality (imbalance) at their cores. Establishment physics offers no explanation for this curved path phenomena.

When electrons are deflected by an electromagnetic (emission) field, what is the mechanism that causes this to occur? Once again, the abstractionist paradigm remains silent. The only possible explanation is that the electrons absorb emission from the electromagnetic (emission) field and are deflected (in the sense of attraction) in accordance with the density of the field.

Physics claims that the wavelength of an electron is determined by its momentum, and that electrons in higher orbits show contraction due to their smaller wavelengths. The wavelength of an electron is determined by the extent of its emission which is determined by the density of the impacting emission. Electrons in higher orbits are subject to less density of impacting emission and hence have a higher orbital speed and decreased wavelengths as a consequence. With the abstractionist paradigm they tend to get cause and effect back to front because they failed to correctly interpret the Hafele-Keating experiment and apply it to the totality of atomic structure.

The well known phenomena of the emission (light) from a distance star being bent as it passes near a star closer to our point of observation, gravitational lensing, is also a case of particles being deflected by absorbing emission from an emission field.

The orbit of a planet around the Sun can be accounted for by its absorption of emission from the Sun and other planets via its emission field, and its orbital motion.

The advance in the perihelion of Mercury can be explained by the increase in the matter of Mercury during each orbit around the Sun. This increase in matter results in an increase in the density of its gravitational field which sees it remain in close contact (at perihelion) with the Sun a little longer during each orbit. This advance in the perihelion, also known as orbital precession, would apply to all the planets. This also explains why the orbits of the planets are elliptical and not circular.

Rotation is an inherent aspect of the Universe, be it the rotation of a particle a planet a star or a galaxy. An individual particle is a process of absorption and emission and is in a state of imbalance due to the dissymmetrical duality of its core. As a consequence an individual particle would rotate, vibrate, and pulsate.

We can see matter as made of particles, which in turn are made of sub-particles. These particles are bound through the absorption of emission within a context of impacting emission. We can see this emission in turn as being made of even smaller particles all the way down to the smallest possible particle in the Universe. However, even this smallest possible particle would absorb and emit and thus exist within a context of emission that is groundstate of the Universe.  

How can you distinguish between the present brightness of a galaxy or star and its distance from the point of observation? By assuming that the brightness of a galaxy or star does not change over time? By assuming that the wavelength of their emission (light) does not change over distance? By assuming that emission (light) has a constant velocity as it travels through interaction with the dispersing emission called empty space? It’s all nonsense; an exceedingly large fantasy collusion. The desire to measure cosmic distance over-rides any rational consideration of the actual dynamic nature of the Universe. You cannot distinguish between the present brightness of a galaxy or star and its distance from the point of observation. The only way of measuring cosmic distance is through triangulation. For measurements beyond our solar system, the result will always be “a very long way”.

If you measure a wavelength in the emission from a star that corresponds to that of an element, does this indicate the presence of that element in the star? As emission is constructed into wavelengths as it travels, it can have the same spectral signature of the emission of an element but does not indicate the presence of that element in the star. The spectral signature is the “emission symmetry” of the emission of the element. The only way the emission from a star could represent the presence of an element would be if it didn’t change in wavelength as it travelled towards the Earth, which is simply impossible.

There is an area of the abstractionist paradigm called Quantum theory. This is really an observation and not a theory. It’s based on the fact that energy (emission) comes in discrete packets or quanta, and not as an undifferentiated stream. Quantum physicists do not ask how these quanta are formed or constructed. Quanta, like the wavelengths of emission that they are, are formed or constructed through the convergence of levels of emission.

Uncertainty is seen by physics as an inherent aspect of the Universe. This is presented with the Uncertainty Principle, which states that: “there is a fundamental limit to the precision with which a position co-ordinate of a particle and its momentum in that direction can be simultaneously known.” (“Larousse, Dictionary of Science and Technology”, 1995) If something is in a static position then it doesn’t have a velocity, and if it has a velocity then it’s not in a static position. Surely, position and momentum are mutually exclusive. The only way that both factors could be known to any level of precision simultaneously would be if the particle does not have a static position but is, in fact, moving at some velocity in a particular direction.

Physics claims that the inherent uncertainty also relates to the “quantum”, or ultra microscale, and that “it has nothing to do with the ability (or inability) of our instruments to make accurate measurements.” (John Gribbin, “Companion to the Cosmos”, 1996) At the ultra microscale the absorption and emission of the matter of the instrument with which you measure interacts with the absorption and emission of that which is being measured. If what you were measuring was a wavelength, then this could entail the matter of the measurement instrument absorbing some of the emission of the wave causing it to collapse to a lower state of construction. This is usually referred to as “the collapse of the wave function”. 

An experiment which uses what is called a Bose-Einstein condensate and a number of isotopes of a particular element,  has a result that can’t be explained by the abstractionist paradigm. The experiment sees about half the isotopes in the condensate at first repel each other. This could only occur if they were not equivalent (identical). When a magnetic field is applied to the condensate, the isotopes attract each other. This is obviously due to the isotopes obtaining an equivalence of emission through absorbing the magnetic field. When the strength of the field is increased even further around half the isotopes suddenly disappear in a flash of emission. The increasing strength of the magnetic field is equivalent to the increasing density of impacting emission acting as pressure and causing the isotopes to de-construct (explode) back into the emission from which they were constructed.

Being locked into a paradigm of limited capacity can waste time, money and effort. Physics has wasted all three by building instruments to detect and measure gravity waves. Gravity waves and emission waves are one and the same thing. When you observe and measure the emission of the Sun, you are detecting and measuring its gravity waves. 

The idea of nuclear fusion reactors to obtain free energy is another misbegotten idea of the abstractionist paradigm. The electromagnet field which is used to contain the process actually fuels the process through its emission being absorbed by the process. You can never get out more than you put in.

Another waste of time by establishment physics relates to trying to discover what they call “missing dark matter”. They see this dark matter as being required to account to the macro-structure of the Universe. There is no missing dark matter. The emission that is space (the dark matter) extends to levels far below that which constitutes the visible light part of the spectrum, and all the way down to the groundstate at the ultra microscale.

The establishment physics idea of the big bang beginning of the Universe is based on a misinterpretation of what is called the cosmic red shift phenomena. Red shift involves emission (light) increasing in wavelength. The cosmic red shift phenomena and the gravitational red shift phenomena are one and the same thing. The physics establishment is prepared to accept that the red shift in the emission from our Sun is due to its emission (gravitational) field and yet claims that the red shift in the emission from galaxies is not due to their emission field. We’re asked to believe that galaxies don’t have emission (gravitational) fields, that they don’t have emission (light) at all, and that they don’t exist and must be figments of our imagination.

The galaxies are not accelerating away. Forget the Doppler Effect. The emission (light) from galaxies and stars disperses through encountering decreasing density of impacting emission. If the emission from galaxies and stars did not disperse as it travelled towards us, then the sky would be ablaze with the emission called light. This is known as Olbers’ Paradox, and is resolved with the fact of the dispersion of the emission called light.

Background microwave radiation has been detected in the cosmic sky, and this is claimed to be left over from the big bang and as evidence supporting the big bang theory. The background microwave radiation is merely indicative of the maximum dispersion of emission as the groundstate of emission at the ultra microscale

In 1929 a “tired light” theory was put forward the Swiss Astronomer Fritz Zwicky, to account for the red shift in the light from galaxies. This theory is in essence correct. It was rejected in favor of Edwin Hubble’s expanding Universe theory, which fitted the inherent need of physicists to make measurements and do calculations and generate thousands upon thousands of journal articles which all add-up to close to zero in terms of knowledge about the Universe. The big bang theory is right up there with the Flat Earth theory, and the Earth being the centre of the solar system theory. 

The Universe did not begin with a big bang. The Universe did not begin; it’s infinite in space and time and is a process of the construction and evolution of everything, including Humans.

Although there are obviously an infinite number of things in the Universe, if there were an infinite number of types of things then there would be infinite variability. We do not observe infinite variability. We observe that things form discrete types.

Could it be that the types we observe are merely a product of the way in which we Humans are able to see the Universe? Good question. We Humans are an example of the construction possibilities of the Universe, therefore, it’s reasonable to assume that our capacity to observe the Universe is in accordance with the Universe and that the types we observe actually exist. Good answer.

The fact that an exceedingly large number would represent the finite number of types of things that can be constructed is irrelevant. As long the number is finite, anything that can exist must exist an infinite number of times and do so in every moment of time. Given that infinite existence is the big appeal of religion, the fact that infinite existence is a given fact of existence could be the last nail in the coffin of religion.

The abstractionist paradigm is a conceptual structure built from interconnected assumptions and theories and inconsistency. When some of these assumptions and theories are debunked, and its inconsistency is exposed, the whole house of cards begins to collapse. The failure by physics to correctly interpret the Hafele-Keating experiment was clearly a major mistake. But the biggest mistake was in thinking that mathematics and measurements, in and of themselves, represented a truly fundamental approach to understanding the Universe.

It has a microphone for use with conversations and a Bluetooth microphone that will deliver mobile phone calls directly to your hearing aid. These devices have simple controls and are easy to set up and use. New and better technology is being developed all the time, but we have come a long way from the handheld hearing cone pictured in our storybooks.

Dimensions of Time

Introduction

Before I begin I feel I must first explain why I have labeled this a theory rather than a hypothesis. This is because I am sure that enough evidence exists to prove my hypothesis. A large part of this evidence comes from recent experiments using clocks on earth vs above the earth. I also believe that my arguments are logically sound, and that a reasonable human being would consider it possible rather than dismissing it outright. It is within the logical framework of this paper that my theory of time will find its way into the minds of its readers. ‘Scientific facts could not exist without first considering the possibilities’.

Theory of Time

We view our world based on three distinct planes which are; 1) The line, 2) The plane, and 3) The 3 dimensional object or the third dimension. The fourth dimension has been overwhelmingly and conveniently lumped into one category, that of the fourth dimension; known as time. I maintain that time is not the fourth dimension. Time is only a measuring device, a concept for us to measure the motion of an object. Well, I say motion and time are more related than we think.

I know that there are many who would point to certain perceived events in science as proof that time truly exists as a physical thing. Perhaps none more importantly than the perceived differences between a clock on earth and a clock in space. The belief is that two clocks set to exactly the same time will not read the same time once one of the two clocks is placed in orbit above the earth. The clock above the earth runs slower than the clock back on earth and therefor; it is assumed that we are seeing a physical manifestation of time. Evidence that time exists as a thing rather than a concept. I can understand how that conclusion could be made. Another experiment took place where an atomic clock on a jet was synchronized to another atomic clock back on the ground. As the jet flew through the sky, the atomic clock on board appeared to slow down the faster the jet went. As if time itself slows down the faster you go. It is true that the clock does slow, and it is also true that a clock in space also displays a discrepancy in time. I wonder what a clock on Jupiter would read? My point is that outside forces are responsible for these differences and not the proof of ‘Time Dilation’.

It is true that these time instruments do show a discrepancy, but did we not learn anything from Albert Einstein? He was most deffinately correct about relativity, of this I am sure. That being said, he did suffer from the same concept of time that an overwhelming majority of people seem to share. I point to one of the more famous explanations of Einstein’s concept of time. If a subject is standing near a clock and then suddenly accelerates away from the clock at a tremendous speed, he or she would perceive time as standing still. Now, this concept logically seems to make sense, many things do that turn out not to be true. At the same time history is full of instances where a thought that appeared to be anything but true, turned out to be scientific fact. Einstein was a brilliant man and I take nothing away from his major contributions to science. I would have liked to have asked Einstein this one question,’If a blind man standing near a clock were to accelerate away from that clock, what would he perceive’? His eyes would not tell him anything. My point is that perceptions can sometimes be mistaken. Relativity itself proves this. The fallacy can occur with logic as well. If I were to fly towards the sun at 20,000 miles per second, would I not be traveling back in time’ Since it takes light from the sun roughly 8 minutes to reach the earth, I would be traveling back in time. Clearly not, but my point is this; we must utilize a combination of perception, conception, and testing in order to gain a clear picture of reality. Visual evidence can be misleading; just ask any good magician.

The discrepancy between the clocks in the two examples I described before do occur but for different reasons. Gravity on the earth effects the clock on the earth differently relative to the clock that is experiencing less gravity in orbit around the earth. The atmosphere of the earth also has an effect on the clock left on earth relative to a clock in orbit above the earth. What about the jet? In the case of the jet we have gravity, inertia, as well as the atmosphere exerting an influence over the clock. The stationary clock on the ground is not experiencing inertial forces. It is experiencing slightly more gravity and atmospheric pressure. What I am saying is that, ‘It does not matter whether you synchronize the clocks, use Atomic Clocks, or any other kind of clock. The fact of the matter is that both instruments are undergoing different degrees of forces acting upon them and therefore; will cause each clock to run at different rates. Even an atomic clock would not be sheltered from these outside influences. This is the concept that exists at the very heart of relativity. It often leaves me wondering this; if you stood two synchronized clocks side by side, would they eventually read differently if given millions or even billions of years. This notion would have to take into account that the environment around the two time pieces would have to remain constant and unchanging during that entire event? Unfortunately there would be no way to test this, because we would never be able to set up such a controlled experiment; while having the experiment remain unaffected for the necessary amount of time. I also often wonder what would happen to two clocks occupying the same place at the same exact time? Do not confuse this with the same matter occupying the same space at the same time. What I mean is two clocks made of the same material, but different matter somehow occupying the same space at the same time. Both of these clocks would then read the same forever if they are in sync, because they will exist under the exact same conditions. Of course now we would have to somehow shelter each time piece from influencing each other and even if we could manage to do that the time pieces would still read differently over time simply based on the different events occurring between the matter contained within each clock. This includes minute and undetectable design flaws, minute differences, etc.

I cannot say what exactly leads to the discrepancy between time pieces in Einstein’s theory of ‘Time Dilation’. Perhaps it is due to compression. As the clock accelerates, the material of the clock compresses and causes it to slow. The faster it goes the slower it gets. The same goes for Atomic Clocks. I doubt they are immune to inertial forces, lower gravity, etc. The point is that a time piece is designed to keep track of time on Earth. We use it to measure events and usually those events are being measured from Earth with the clock remaining on Earth. Once you start subjecting that time piece to forces that it is not normally subjected to then we cannot expect it to keep the same time as another time piece, that is at rest on the face of the Earth. We can also assume that time pieces of similar mass will behave in similar ways under similar circumstances, giving rise to the illusion of ‘Time Dilation’. What I am saying, is that the reasons attributed to the perceived events has lead to the wrong conclusions. You can run the test over and over as many times as you like and you will end up with the same results. The experiment is reproducible, with the same outcome every time. This is what being scientifically proven is all about. Most of the time it remains true. The experiment must be testable, repeatable, and have the same results to prove a scientific fact. In this instance, however; we have come to the wrong conclusions. Time Dialition is nothing more than forces acting on matter that results in a slower clock. It is also important to note that clocks are a tool for measuring events on the earth. Once you remove them from the environment they are created to work in then the accuracy of the time piece is left in doubt. The end results of each experiment appear to be the same, because the circumstances with which the experiments are conducted are relatively the same. The same forces on board a jet will be relatively the same, with any changes remaining undetectable. In the case of the atomic clock, it is so precise that we could never detect a difference unless the conditions were as different as Pluto and mars. On earth clocks are influenced by the same forces, in space, etc. etc. Any differences on influences at the molecular level remaining undetectable and therefor unnoticed.

What I propose, is that it is not a matter of time dilation; since time is not an actual thing. As I said before, it is a ruler for measuring events. If an object were to accelerate towards the speed of light, time does not slow down. The event in
